About Me

Shirin has  been involved with the California Education system for the last twenty years. Shirin is an educator, a CBT life coach, mental health advocate, mental health first responder, member of National Alliance of Mental IlLness. Besides a couple of other degrees, I hold California teaching credentials and graduate certification in contemporary mental health counseling.  I am the Founder and Director at Fair Chance for Special Needs, which is a social enrichment program for teens and young with special needs. Through this program, we have also helped  many young men and women by providing them volunteer opportunities and having an open dialogue about mental health.  I am the founder of the WellBeing Solutions which is a new venture keeping the needs of community in mind. Through WellBeing Solutions, our goal is to provide support groups and community outreach for the families and raise awareness about Mental Health.
